The Fatboy Show presenter Olive Najjuma has claimed that love can grow in a relationship, especially if money is involved.
“Where there is the money, with some good manners, love grows. There is a way you feel attracted to someone, and find their jokes funny when they have money," she said.
The presenter was giving her opinion about what is more important in a relationship between love and money?
Bashir, a contributor to the Show, said he prefers love to money, arguing that learning to love someone is almost impossible.
He said that learning to love someone is impractical because they could be in the process, but as soon as they find a person they love, they will quit their previous relationships.
“A person can never learn to love. If they don’t love them, it's going to be shown when they fall in love with another person,” Bashir explained.
James Onen, a co-host of the show, with similar sentiments referred to Jada Pinkett and Will Smith’s marriage, where Jada has made it clear several times that she isn’t in love with Will Smith even after spending 20 years and bearing two children together.
Fatboy added that most men prefer love to money because they don’t date women for their money. But Olive argued that many men now prefer dating working women who have something and are not ‘broke’.
Fatboy and Bashir said that such men wouldn’t be fit to be identified as such because they wouldn’t be performing their roles as men.
The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy, Olive, and Sarah every weekday from 6 am to 10 am on RX Radio.
