Olive: Side Chics Often End Up Wanting Marriage

Whereas many would think that side- chic lifestyle is more fun and luxurious and would not make a woman yearn for more, Olive Najjuma The Fatboy show presenter, argued that often side-chics want to become main wives.

She said that although some could develop trust issues, others admire the relevance men attach to their wives and end up demanding for marriage.

“Side chics always desire to get married because the married men keep telling them the milestones achieved with their wives. Some men are ‘we’ talkers, of ‘we bought this land, we are going to build this house' and that will make a side chic wish the same was happening to her,” said Olive.

She further elaborated that a side-chic lifestyle is tiring and burdensome at some point because some married men are very rigid about the boundaries a side-chic has in a relationship.

“Some men are strict. If he is home by 8, the side chic knows they should not call. And in case of an emergency, she can't reach him. I have read stories where one lost her child but the man insisted on not being called,” Olive recollected.

Replying to whether the presence of side chics and side dudes have made people lose interest in marriage, Alex, a contributor to the show, said that usually, side guys know their position in friends-with-benefits situations but they get trust issues when it comes to long-term relationships.

To him, many fail to have trust in their partners because they are afraid that what they did as side guys could be done to them.

The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy, Olive, and Sarah every weekday from 6 am to 10 am on RX Radio.
