Fatboy: Let's Hope That Muhoozi Extends His Diplomatic Efforts To Uganda's Other Neighbours

Following the reopening of the Gatuna border connecting Uganda to Rwanda, credit has been given to the Commander of Land Forces Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba who has been applauded for mending the sour relations between Rwanda and Uganda after a 3 year long dispute between the countries.

Further strengthening his roots, it has been said that the Muhoozi project aiming at making the General who is also the first son the next President of Uganda is strategically picking support in and out the country.

For his 48th birthday celebrations slated for Sunday 24th April, Gen Muhoozi invited Ugandans and all East Africans to his big day. It is no wonder that yesterday about 20 sexy Rwandese ladies flew into the country for the event, though the plane skidded off the runway while landing at the Entebbe airport causing tension and questions about the quality of the airport’s runway.

The Fatboy Show presenter James Onen commonly known as Fatboy, reported that Gen Muhoozi’s move to invite the former Miss Rwanda Naomie Nishimwe, is evident that the first son has established diplomatic relations with Rwanda and these could be extended to Uganda’s other neighbours.

“The last three or so months have just been about him and his close ties to Rwanda and if that's gonna benefit the country in terms of relations, well and good. I do hope that when the dust settles he can direct those diplomatic efforts towards mending Uganda’s relations with other countries.”

In addition his co host Olive Najjuma continued that Uganda may not be directly at loggerheads with some of its neighbours but it has had for instance trade standoffs with countries like Kenya where Ugandan products were stopped from getting into Kenya making Ugandan farmers suffer loses from price fluctuation of their products.

Fatboy went on to mention that having seen a picture of Gen Muhoozi meeting with Uhuru Kenyatta, there might be ongoing talks.

“I'm not so sure of any of that but one thing I am so sure of is that the Muhoozi project is real and it's on,” said Olive.

In the remaining 4 years to get to the next elections, Olive believed that it was enough time to groom and present Gen. Muhoozi as the next NRM Presidential flag bearer.

“I think there’s enough time and he has all the resources at his disposal. I think that the talks he had with Rwanda, Kenya, him being put out there is part of that effort,” Olive added.

The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy, Olive and Sarah every weekday from 6am to 10am on RX Radio.
